Jeremy is an award-winning documentary filmmaker/video producer for RabbitView Documentary Production. The company has produced over 70 Television documentaries for International distribution and focuses on creating compelling content with strong visuals. His primary focus now is aligning with broadcast networks, digital platforms, comedy clubs, and comics to provide an unfiltered glimpse behind-the-scenes into the fascinating world of comedy.
Over the past decade, Jeremy co-produced the documentary “Girls Don’t Fight” for CTV, produced a weekly real estate TV show for Corus Custom Networks, and created hundreds of corporate videos, webisodes, and mini-documentaries. Over the past several years, Jeremy has honed his storytelling skills by directing, filming and editing a wide array of sports-oriented broadcast documentaries for international distribution. His latest focus is creating docu-style content showcasing the behind-the-scenes antics of a comedy clubs and the eclectic sub-culture of stand-up comedy.
The University of Calgary/Vancouver Digital Film School grad’s first foray into film-making was a quirky documentary, The Deeper You Go, about a charismatic hypnotist’s journey from bawdy stage performer to self-help guru. Produced for little more than the cost of the camera and digital video tapes, the film is a testament to Jeremy’s ingenuity and creative capabilities. The film played at numerous film festivals, including The Montreal International Film Festival, The New York Independent Film & Video Festival, The Calgary International Film Festival, and won the award for best direction at The Golden Gate Fiction Film and Video Festival. It made its premiere on The Documentary Channel in early 2005 and played on the channel over 100 times.
